Kentucky State Police are investigating after a body was found in Brandenburg Sunday (1/31) morning.
The body was discovered just after 8:30 Sunday morning in a ditch line along Christian Church Road near Bud Wilson Road. Investigators searched the area for clues as to what the circumstances were surrounding the unidentified female. State Police confirmed to WVIH.com that the female was from Brandenburg.
The body was taken to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy to determine the cause of death. No other details were released as the investigation remains ongoing.
