Members of Meade County Fiscal Court met during a special called meeting Tuesday (9/29) morning for to open bids related to construction of the parking lots at the new county animal shelter and road garage.
Magistrates opened the bids for the parking lot work which be completed in three phases according to County Road Foreman Jeff Padgett. The lowest of the 5 bids received was from E&B LLC in the amount of $280,500. The court voted to approved the lowest bid pending that it meets all bidding requirements upon revioew.
Magistrates also voted to seek bids on a garage lift for the new county road garage that will be able to lift heavy trucks and tractors for maintenance.
The next regular meeting of Meade County Fiscal Court is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th at 7 pm.
