Absentee voting is set to begin in the Meade County Clerk’s Office Monday. The County Board of Elections will inspect the machines at 9 am and absentee voting will begin immediately afterwards. absentee voting by mail has already begun.
Meade County Clerk Judy Jordan is in need of precinct workers, both Democrat and Republican, but especially Republicans at this point. The pay is $25.00 for attending the election school and $125.00 for working election day. If you are an alternate, you will be paid $25 for the school and $25 for being on call on election day.
