Kentucky State Police are conducting a murder investigation in the Wolf Creek community of Meade County. Thursday afternoon police identified the victim
as 30 year-old Daniel Shane Allen. Allen was discovered unresponsive at his residence at 12 Rick Stansbury Street Wednesday afternoon around 3 pm.
The Meade County E911 Center received a call from a female at the residence, who apparently found Allen. Investigators have not released any details surrounding the death. Police spent several hours collecting evidence and talking with people in the area. As the investigation progressed, it was determined that the foul play was involved in Allen’s death.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, Meade County EMS, and the Meade County Coroner. Investigators ask anyone with any information related to this case to call Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown at (270) 766-5078.
