Rolling Roadblocks will be in place beginning this week on Interstate 65 stretching from the Tennessee State Line (Mile marker 0) to the Barren/Hart County Line (mile marker 54). The rolling roadblocks will begin Monday night and go for about a week starting at 10 p.m. and last until 7 a.m. each day.
The rolling roadblocks are being done so Reynolds Striping can work on replacing and repairing pavement markers. The crews will start on the northbound side at mile marker 0 and work north until about mile marker 54. Once northbound is complete, the crews will work their way southbound back the Tennessee State Line. The Kentucky State Police will be present during these roadblocks. Motorists need to use caution and be aware of the work going on the interstate. The rolling roadblocks could add additional travel time.
