A Hardinsburg woman was arrested after a accident in Meade County Tuesday afternoon (10/20).
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the two vehicle accident happened on Highway 79 near the Breckinridge County line. A 2003 Pontiac Grand AM driven by 32 year-old Mary Critchelow of Hardinsburg was traveling North at a high rate of speed, crossed the center line and sideswiped a Southbound 2014 Buick Encore driven by 63 Donna LaGrange of Hardinsburg.
Critchelow’s car then ran off of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. All parties involved refused medical treatment at the scene.
Critchelow failed a field sobriety test witha score of .131. She was charged with reckless driving; wanton endangerment second degree; and possession of a open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle.
