
A Brandenburg woman was taken to the hospital on Friday (1/1) after accident in Doe Valley. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 12:15 pm New Year’s Day in the 100 block of Valley Greens Drive in Doe Valley.
A silver 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by year old Andrea Brady of Brandenburg, went off of the roadway and went into a wood line. Brady was found unresponsive in the car seat with the doors locked. Firemen with the Meade County Fire Department gained access to the vehicle through a window. Brady was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown for possible injuries. The investigating Deputy discovered spice, lighter and three bottles of pills in the front seat. Brady admitted to EMS personnel that she had been smoking spice prior to the accident.
Charges could be forth coming as the investigation remains ongoing by the Meade County Sheriff’s Department.
