A man has been arrested after drugs, guns, needles and ammo were found all in the same house with five children at a home in the 4300 block of Hopewell Road outside of Jeffersontown.
Stanley Wayne Brinley, 40, was the target of a lengthy drug investigation. Detectives were able to execute a search warrant on Tuesday.
According to the arrest citation, they found a growing operation inside complete with lighting, irrigation, timers and ventilation equipment. There also recovered 25 marijuana plants up to six feet tall.
The report states police discovered 21 handguns, semi-automatic rifles and shotguns with up to 10,000 rounds of ammunition.
According to the report, five children were living there ranging in age from 1 to 8 years old. Police say they all had access to the drugs, uncapped needles and weapons. Hazardous mold was also present.
Brinley faces numerous drug charges and wanton endangerment. Bond has been set at $7,500 cash.
