
Western Kentucky University President Dr. Gary Ransdell said no faculty positions or academic programs will be lost as part of the 4.5% budget cuts the state handed them.
However, the Gatton Academy will see a lower enrollment next year by about 12 students.
To help with the cuts, the university is doing several things.
Consolidating programs, moving the grounds crew employees onto a private contract, and some recurring funding will be transferred to one-time funding.
