An Ohio County teacher is facing theft charges.
Kentucky State Police charges 36 year-old Kenneth R. Alford of Hartford, with one count of Theft By Unlawful Taking over $500. They say from 2012 to 2105, Alford stole an undetermined amount of money while serving as president of the Ohio County Teachers Association.
The Ohio County Grand Jury indicted Alford on Tuesday. He was arrested and charged on Wednesday, and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
