
Authorities in Kentucky and Indiana are investigating after a third body was pulled from the Ohio River in less than 24 hours.
Daviess County firefighters recovered the body of a woman between the ages of 30 and 50 on Thursday morning. Kentucky State Police do not have an identity.
On Wednesday, Indiana State Police recovered a woman’s body near Troy, Indiana, and Daviess County officials recovered the body of a man from the river.
The bodies found Wednesday were badly decomposed, but Kentucky State Police said the body found Thursday appeared to have been in the water no more than a day or two.
Autopsies were planned for all the bodies.
