The Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph Daniel Weatherford of Hopkinsville and Hunter J. Barnett of Crofton after an investigation into firearm thefts from the 6000 block of Pembroke Road and the 1000 block of Elmo Road.
Weatherford was arrested for Burglary 1st Degree regarding the theft of 3 guns from a building on Elmo Road.
Barnett was arrested for Burglary 1st Degree and Theft of Firearms for his alleged involvement in both burglaries on Elmo Road and Pembroke Road.
Five guns were taken between the two residences with one being recovered.
Investigators are attempting to locate the remaining firearms.
