Shively police say a man has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old early Friday morning.
Officers were sent to the 1700 block of Luken Drive around 3 a.m. after someone called 911 and hung up. They found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim, who has not yet been identified, did not live at the home where he was found, police say, but is from Louisville.
Police identified the suspect as 23 year-old Ryan L. Nolan of Louisville. Online jail records show that he was booked into custody around 9:15 a.m. Friday on a murder charge.
