Motorists can expect some delays on 31W and Interstate 65 near the Larue and Hardin County line near Upton this week.
Beams will be set for the new bridge at this location on the following dates with the corresponding traffic impacts weather permitting:
Monday, June 13th: Beams will be set for the outer two spans between Noon and 4 p.m. EDT. Traffic on US 31W will be controlled by flaggers. No traffic control will be needed on I65 during this portion of the project.
Tuesday, June 14th: Beams will be set over southbound lanes of I65 between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. EDT. Traffic on southbound I65 will be controlled utilizing rolling roadblocks. Both lanes of US 31W will remain open during this portion of the project.
Wednesday, June 15th: Beams will be set over northbound lanes of I65 between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. EDT. Traffic on northbound I65 will be controlled utilizing rolling roadblocks. Both lanes of US 31W will remain open during this portion of the project.
