Meade County School Board gave their approval on several items at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening.
Justin McElfresh of Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects gave an overview of the final draft and answered questions concerning the renovation and addition to the Meade County Area Technology Center. After about a half hour of discussion, the board approved construction documents to be submitted to the Kentucky Department of Education. They also gave approval for bids for the project pending the approval from the Kentucky Department of Education.
The board approved a bid of $7,380 from Concrete & More, LLC for summer sidewalk projects at David T. Wilson and Flaherty Schools. This was the lowest of four bids received by the district.
