
The Warren County Drug Task Force sent officers undercover to track down a couple meth dealers.
On Thursday morning officers managed to purchase four grams of meth and a shotgun from Aaron Scott Hypes of Louisville and Jeffery Willis Johnson of Bowling Green.
After the sale, a felony traffic stop was executed by the Kentucky State Police and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department on Campbell lane where both Hypes and Johnson were arrested.
Both men were charged with trafficking a controlled substance and trafficking a controlled substance within 1000 yards of a school. Hypes was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both Hypes and Johnson were then taken to the Warren County Jail.
