Kentucky State Police say the family of 37-year-old David Aycock found him dead in the woods of Warren County Thursday evening about 100 feet from where his car was towed from Happy Hollow Road.
Police said Aycock had been reported missing only a day prior by his mother and girlfriend, who told police they were growing concerned after not hearing from him in a few days.
Members of the band Twang and Round mourned his passing on Friday, telling reporters Aycock had traveled on the road with them before. For Twang and Round, the hardest part was not knowing what really happened to their friend.
Police say those details might be weeks away, with no obvious sign of cause of death.
