Kentucky State Police continue to investigate a death in Smiths Grove.
Troopers were called to a home on Hays Lodge Road in Warren County after a woman’s body was found inside the home Friday.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Smiths Grove Police, Warren County Coroner, and Commonwealth Attorney’s Office all were on the scene.
Police say the woman found dead was renting the home on Hays Lodge Road, and may have been the only person living there.
Neighbors said they have never seen the woman who lives in the house but have seen cars frequently coming in and out.
Kentucky State Police confirms they are investigating this case as a homicide.
