
Anthony Baird is behind bars after a Logan County Sheriff’s deputy saw him driving on US 68 East, and knew there was a warrant out for his arrest.
The deputy placed Baird under arrest for the active warrant out of Logan District Court on a laundry list of charges including Cultivating Marijuana 5 plants or more 1st offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The charges were the result of a May investigation by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
During Saturday’s arrest, the deputy found cocaine and drug paraphernalia with Baird, adding additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Baird was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
