
According to her attorney, a Warren Circuit judge has denied a request to dismiss a charge of Reckless Homicide against Kaylee Whitehall.
Whitehall and her attorney asked the judge to dismiss the charge at a hearing on May 31, 2016.
Whitehall claims self-defense in the stabbing death of her boyfriend Kuston Johnson in Bowling Green on September 10, 2015.
Whitehall’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 11, 2016.
If convicted, the charge of Reckless Homicide carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
