Law enforcement agencies are seeking the public’s help finding a stolen vehicle and a suspect in a Saturday morning homicide in Campbellsville.
The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Rocky Ashby. Police said he is 5’11”, weighs 200 pounds and has dark hair. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Department says Ashby is believed to be driving a stolen red 1996 Chevrolet S10 single cab pickup truck with a short wheel base, tinted windows, a tint strip across the windshield, Corvette rally wheels, an airplane hood ornament, and the word “Chevrolet” across the tailgate. The truck’s Kentucky license plate number is 409GNY.
Police said Ashby should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Anyone spotting Ashby or the stolen vehicle should call their local law enforcement agency or 911.
