Authorities say the bodies of two Kentucky women have been recovered after a boat overturned at Lake Lanier in north Georgia.
Local news media report Georgia Department of Natural Resources officials said Saturday the bodies of 45-year-old Melissa Renee McMahan and 44-year-old Tammy Reece were located during an overnight search.
Maj. Stephen Adams says the single-vessel boat incident occurred on the southern end of Lake Lanier on Friday. A collision with another boat is not suspected.
Officials say a search is still ongoing for 46-year-old Arthur Gene McMahan Jr. and 44-year-old Anthony Reece Jr.
Melissa and Arthur MaMahan are from Mount Washington, Kentucky. Tammy and Anthony Reece are from Columbia, Kentucky.
Officials believe the occupants of the boat were involved with the Pirates of Lanier Charity Poker Run.
