A Bullitt County homeowner who was believed to be in danger has been located.
Captain Mike Murdoch said Craig Ickes was found dead on Friday night at a location off Highway 245. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Deputies were looking for Ickes after a woman was found dead in a house he owns on West Audubon Drive on Wednesday. The woman’s body was in the living room of the house when firefighters responded to fire at the home.
Last week, Murdoch said investigators believe the woman knew the person who killed her.
