
One person was sent to the hospital after an accident early Tuesday (7/26) morning in Dyer.
According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff Department, the accident happened around 4:20 am when a 2001 BMW car failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection of Highway 86 and 401.
The car, driven by 33 year-old Daniel Sledd of Vine Grove, went off of the roadway and through the corner of a building owned by Brandenburg Telephone Company.
The Custer Fire Department had to extract Sledd from the wreckage.
Sledd was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Breck Central EMS.
It took crews a couple of hours to remove the car from the building.
There were no interruptions to phone customers according to Brandenburg Telephone Company.
