Police are investigating a Monday night fatal shooting in Bowling Green.
The shooting of 39 year-old Derek Lewis occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the sidewalk on Payne Street. One bullet missed, leaving a large hole in a house nearby where a family was asleep when the shots rang out.
Police are currently not releasing any information on leads, only saying the motive behind the attack was deliberate.
This is Bowling Green’s second murder of 2016, and the third total in Warren County.
