An autopsy of a Franklin man who went missing shows he died of acute methamphetamine intoxication.
Warren County Deputy Coroner David Goens said 37-year-old David Aycock’s death is the first methamphetamine overdose death recorded in Warren County this year.
The Kentucky State Police said in a news release they found Aycock’s body on June 16 in a wooded area in Warren County about 100 feet from a roadway.
Aycock was reported missing by family the previous day.
