A Missouri man was arrested after crossing the state line into Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police say David Jordan Jr. was arrested Thursday after an undercover investigation showed he was using an online chat system to talk to who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Jordan came to Kentucky Thursday with plans to engage in sexual acts with the minor.
Police obtained a search warrant for Jordan’s car, where electronic equipment was found and confiscated for further investigating.
Jordan is charged with one count of using an electronic device to lure a minor, which is a class D felony. Additional charges are expected.
Jordan was lodged in the Franklin County Detention Center.
