The Elizabethtown Police Department and other area police agencies are searching for a red or maroon pickup truck that witnesses say struck a man Thursday night on U.S. 62 at the intersection of Kentucky Drive and then fled.
EPD responded at 10:42 p.m. to the location where a witness reported Corey A.Bryant was walking across U.S. 62 when a red or maroon pickup was going westbound and slowing to make a left turn into a gas station when the truck struck Bryant.
The driver fled, going westbound on U.S. 62.
Bryant sustained multiple injuries to his head and left arm and was airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville where he was listed in critical condition.
