The drug company Mylan says it’s making a generic version of its EpiPen, which will be about half the price of the brand name.
Mylan’s recent hike of an EpiPen double pack to $608 brought about much criticism, and last week Mylan announced a $300 savings card and a revised patient assistance program. The company says those offerings will continue.
