An Elizabethtown man killed Wednesday night when he was struck by a vehicle on East Dixie Avenue in Elizabethtown.
Darrin C. Henning, 49, of Elizabethtown, was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday night by the Hardin County Coroner’s Office.
According to Elizabethtown police, Henning was wearing dark clothing and standing on the roadway around 8:15 p.m. when he was struck by a red Buick car going south in the right lane on East Dixie. A female driver of the vehicle told authorities she did not see the man along the road.
The collision occurred in front of Doug’s Towing at 648 East Dixie Avenue.
