
A Muhlenberg County teacher charged with raping one of her former students has her first court appearance.
According to the circuit court clerk’s office, Courtney Davis pleaded not guilty. Her preliminary hearing was set for October 27 at 9:00 am and she is allowed to remain out of jail on bond.
Davis is accused of having an improper sexual relationship with a boy under 18 years of age.
Davis could get up to five years in prison on the third degree rape charge.
