A murder suspect who was accidentally released from jail is back in police custody.
Terrance Moore was booked back into the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on Friday.
Moore was released from the Pike County Detention Center on September 30 because of a mix-up in paperwork, according to Pike County Detention Center officials.
Moore was facing a murder charge after investigators said he shot and killed Tyrone Booker on March 27, 2016. He was being held in prison on a previous robbery charge while awaiting trial for Booker’s death.
Moore was transferred to the Taylor County Jail, then to the Pike County Detention Center on September 19.
Booker was one of the teenagers who became known as part of the “misidentified four.” The four teens were arrested and later sued the city and won after claiming they were profiled.
Terrance Moore’s brother, Kentrey Moore, is also facing a murder charge in Booker’s death. He is still in custody and is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
