A Louisville family is asking for help in finding their missing 17 year-old daughter.
Helen Parr vanished from her home on Shelby Road on September 2nd. The last time she was seen was around 11:30 p.m that Friday night, the next morning she was gone.
Helen’s parents searched her room, and found nothing notable missing except their daughter’s driver’s permit.
On Saturday, Parr’s family and friends will be passing out fliers at the Louisville zoo, which is close to Helen’s home which is the last place she was seen. The family has hired a private investigator to help find information about where Helen might be. They are hoping to raise money for additional search efforts as well as a reward for information leading to her being found.
Parr weighs around 125 pounds. She’s 5 feet 4 inches tall with hazel eyes, sandy hair and braces. She has a heart condition that can lead to cardiac arrest. Louisville Metro Police have activated Operation Return Home.
If you have any information on her whereabouts, contact police at 502-574-LMPD.
The family has set up a Facebook page called “Help find Helen Parr.”
