A Versailles woman has been indicted on multiple charges several months after a road crash that killed a married couple.
Media outlets report that 45-year-old Krystal Chaffins was indicted Monday on two charges of second-degree manslaughter, possession of cocaine and driving under the influence.
She is accused of driving a pickup truck that crossed the center line on Versailles Road on December 2 and crashed into another pickup truck. According to the coroner’s report, the other truck was carrying 76-year-old Joseph Beemer and 73-year-old Cynthia Beemer. Both victims died at a hospital shortly after the crash.
Court records show a warrant has been issued for Chaffins’ arrest.
