In preparation for final surfacing of the Interstate 65 expansion project between Munfordville and Bonnieville, lane closures will be taking place each night this week as work crews take advantage of favorable weather conditions.
Wednesday night, Southbound will be reduced to one lane upon approach to Exit 65 as paving crews complete the final section near Munfordville. Work will begin at 7 p.m. and should be complete by 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
Thursday night, work will shift to Northbound and also require a reduction to one lane. Closures will vary between Exits 65 and 71 as paving crews make progress. Northbound final surfacing will continue each night for the remainder of this week from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. through Sunday morning.
Motorists should pay close attention to work zone signage and slow down through these areas. Short delays may be possible.
