One man in Muhlenberg County ends up getting shot, for doing his job.
Kentucky State Police were called to a shooting on New Cypress Road in Greenville Wednesday, October 26th.
Police say 51-year-old Michael McCool of Madisonville went there to collect money from a delinquent Aaron’s Rent-A-Center account.
After an argument about the account, 74-year-old Cornelius Walker of Greenville shot McCool.
McCool was flown to St. Mary’s hospital in Evansville, Indiana where he remains in critical condition.
Walker is in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center being charged with assault.
