A Shively Cub Scout leader is accused of stealing money from his troop.
According to a criminal summons, 51 year-old Michael Ralston stole $1,350 in Scout money and fees between March and September 2016.
The summons states that several people affiliated with the troop contacted Shively police about the theft.
A Shively police officer tried to call Ralston to advise him to return the money, but Ralston never answered and his voice mail hadn’t been activated to receive calls.
Ralston is a Scout Master with the Lincoln Heritage Council Boy Scouts.
He is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking.
