A sheriff says three people died and one was injured after a van careened off the interstate in central Kentucky.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff, deputies responded before daybreak Wednesday to a report that a van had gone off Interstate 64 and hit a tree before catching fire. He said first responders arrived to find three people dead and a fourth person injured. He said that person was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say it appears that a tire might have blown out causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
