
Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement attempted to stop a tractor trailer traveling north on Interstate 65 in Warren County just after 1 p.m. Monday when a pursuit began that ended in Hardin County.
Senior Officer Jeremy Duvall was attempting to stop a tractor trailer for a random safety inspection on Interstate 65 south of Bowling Green. The driver, 42-year old Hussein Abdikadir Ali of Tucson, Arizona, was operating a 2006 Volvo truck with a trailer. Ali failed to stop when commanded to by Sr. Ofc. Duvall where he traveled 69 miles on Interstate 65 before units with Kentucky State Police Bowling Post deployed spike strips disabling the vehicle 2 miles north of Sonora.
Ali was taken into custody and lodged in the Warren County Detention Center charged with:
Fleeing or Evading Police 1st
Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree Police x3
Speeding in a Work zone
Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
Resisting Arrest
Duvall was assisted by units from Kentucky State Police Commercial Enforcement Division Region 2, Kentucky State Police Bowling Green, Kentucky State Police Elizabethtown and the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force.
