A woman was been charged with taking financial advantage of her mother who is suffering from dementia.
Deborah Vance, 58, also known as Deborah Lynn Daugherty, was caught using her mother’s credit and ATM cards for over $10,000 without her consent.
Vance was caught after her brother noticed the bank statements and reported the transactions to police. After being caught Vance, who was living with her mother at the time, said she would pay her back for the fraudulent activity.
Vance is facing charges of knowingly exploiting an adult and fraudulent use of a credit card $10,000 or more.
