A Radcliff man was arrested late Monday night and charged with the murder of a missing woman who was found dead earlier in the day in an apartment on Park Avenue in Radcliff.
Paul James Ellefritz Jr., 30, is accused of killing 48 year-old Kimberly Mayberger.
Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross said Mayberger’s body would be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy. He wouldn’t say how long Mayberger had been dead when she was found or how she died.
Cross said a missing person’s report on Mayberger was filed Friday. According to her Facebook page, she originally was from Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Ellefritz also is charged with third-degree escape and shoplifting less than $500.
