Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract crews will switch traffic from a “divided inside lanes” configuration to newly constructed outside lanes Thursday tonight (November 17) along Northbound I65 between Mile Points 78 and 82.
Work will begin at 8 p.m. and should be complete by 4 a.m. EST.
During work, the Exit 81 Interchange at Sonora will be closed. Motorists needing to access the Sonora area should use Exit 76 at Upton and continue via US 31W. Motorists needing to access Northbound I65 from the Sonora area should travel to Glendale via US 31W and enter I65 at the Exit 86 Interchange.
