Just over a week after two bodies were found in a burning car on Region-Reedyville Road in Roundhill, Kentucky State Police arrested two people in
connection to the murders.
Arlexis Kawai, 22 of Bowling Green and 21-year-old Helen Rone of Roundhill were arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of Complicity to Murder.
Kentucky State Police say through their investigations, they are now looking for a third suspect in the case, 33-year-old Charles W “Cotton” Lindsey of Roundhill.
Lindsey is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to call their local law enforcement agency.
Kentucky StateP Police is still waiting to get a positive identification on the two burn victims. At this time they are not releasing any information as to what a possible motive for the crime could be.
The area where the bodies were found is not a heavily populated area, making the job of detectives slightly more difficult.
The case was initially categorized as a death investigation, but was upgraded to a double homicide on Tuesday November 15. Officials said autopsy results on the two bodies is what led them to make the change, but didn’t release any more details.
The cause of death has yet to be released, and DNA is still being tested to positively identify the bodies.
