A John Hardin High School football player was charged with the abuse of a teacher after getting into a fight at school Monday morning.
The same fight also sent a female student to the hospital to be checked out.
School District officials said it started as a fight between two girls with an on-going disagreement.
An offensive lineman, the brother of one of the girls, jumped in and also took down a teacher who district officials say was trying to break up the brawl.
District officials said a teacher trying to break it up got knocked to the ground by the player.
Radcliff Police said the juvenile was charged with teacher abuse and released to his parents.
A female student was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital and was checked for minor closed head injury, concussion, blunt injury to the abdomen and multiple contusions to the head and forehead, according to hospital paperwork.
