Two men have been arrested in connection to a stabbing death in Bowling Green.
Police found 25-year-old Ryan Porter stabbed on Johnson Drive early Saturday morning.
Porter was taken to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, where he was pronounced dead.
Bowling Green Police says the suspect in the stabbing, 20-year-old Dionadre Payne, was arrested on Glen Lily Road Saturday evening without incident.
On Monday, Payne pleaded not guilty in Warren District Court to murder charges. His next court appearance is November 28 at 9:00 am. He remains in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $500,000 bond.
A second person was charged in connection to the case on Monday.
According to court documents, Anthony Johnson disposed of the knife used by Payne in the murder.
Police said Johnson initially denied involvement in the murder. After telling Johnson that Payne had named as the person who got rid of the knife, police said Johnson took them to the murder weapon.
Johnson is charged with Tampering With Physical Evidence. He’s facing a $50,000 bond in the Warren County Jail after making his first court appearance Monday morning.
