
Soldiers with the 42nd Clearance Company at Fort Knox are back from Afghanistan and home with their families in time for Christmas.
Members of the 42nd Clearance Company deployed overseas in March, completing over 500 missions.
In those missions, the company coordinated with minesweeping operations and minefield clearance operations.
All 95 members of the company who deployed in March, returned back to Fort Knox on Tuesday.
The soldiers that came home on Tuesday will move into a transitional phase that includes training.
