A Scottsville woman is arrested for falsely reporting her own attempted abduction and assault.
Glasgow police say 21 year-old Rhonda Tharpe contacted them on Monday saying she was the victim of an attempted abduction and assault at
Wal-Mart on December 3.
Police say they determined the report was not true through surveillance footage and witness statements.
Tharpe was taken to the Barren County Jail and later released. She was charged with falsely reporting an incident.
