Two suspects were arrested Thursday evening on charges from two separate robberies at a Radcliff drug store.
Connie Norman and Steven Norman were arrested around 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Laurel County by Radcliff Police Department with assistance from London Police Department.
Connie Norman, 47 of Elizabethtown, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery; first offense, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and public intoxication.
Steven Norman, 36 of Magnolia, and Connie Norman’s brother, is charged with two counts of first-degree complicity to robbery and first offense, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance.
Both are accused of robbing Save-Rite Family of Pharmacies of pills in Radcliff December 21 and December 28. Radcliff Police Department Chief Jeff Cross said a person walked into the pharmacy Wednesday but did not display a weapon, according to Save-Rite employees. The person made a threat toward staff and demanded drugs from the pharmacy.
Both had outstanding warrants for an arrest when they were arrested by London Police Department at an EconoLodge in London. Once Radcliff police arrived on the scene, a search warrant was executed on their vehicle and room. Police found 769 pills in a white sock under the hood of their vehicle and approximately 778 pills in a plastic bag under a mattress in the room they were staying in, according to an arrest citation.
They are being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
