A Grayson Country grocery store was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, Crossroads Grocery in Falls of Rough was robbed at 7:25 p.m. on Friday. The suspect, described as a white male, brandished a handgun. He pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded cash. The cashier complied and the suspect fled with a undetermined about of cash in a Ford SUV, possibly an Explorer, going northbound on KY 79.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is still at large and is described as a chubby white male approximately 5’8” tall, weighing about 270-280 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, blue jeans and heavy dark colored boots.
