A man has been arrested in connection with a body found in a southwestern Louisville Metro creek.
Early Saturday morning, Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit arrested 35 year-old LaQuan Owsley.
Owsley had been charged with the murder of 21 year-old Sean W. Shoemaker.
Shoemaker was found in a creek in the 5000 block of Woodridge Lake Boulevard around 4:40 p.m. February 27 by a passerby.
According to a Louisville Metro Police Department arrest report, Owsley assaulted Shoemaker, injuring him before dumping into the pond which resulted in his death.
